MotherMind was created by Jenna, a mother of three who knows, from the inside, what it feels like to be utterly devoted to your children and still feel profoundly alone.
The early years of motherhood brought her real joy — and also a loneliness she hadn't expected, a sense of having lost herself somewhere between the feedings and the sleepless nights, and a quiet ache for support that never quite seemed to arrive in the way she needed it. She looked for something to meet her there — not another checklist, not forced positivity, just honesty and warmth and people who understood. When she couldn't find it, she gathered her own tribe instead, slowly, person by person, and built the village she had been missing.
MotherMind is what she wishes she'd had from the beginning. It is written from that lived experience, grounded in real research, and held by a simple belief: a new mother is sacred, and she deserves to be tended — by information that respects her intelligence, by community that sees the whole of her, and by the kind of care that says, clearly and often, you are not alone in this.
That is what we hope MotherMind gives every mother who finds her way here. Not a replacement for the people who love you, but a hand reaching out until you find your own circle — the way Jenna eventually found hers.
