Privacy Policy
Effective June 24, 2026
Your inner life is private. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
Account: email address and the first name you provide at signup. Profile: optional fields you fill in (journey stage, support preferences, bio, city). Check-ins: the emotion you select each day. Journal entries and highlights: only stored if you write them. Practitioner consultations: only stored if you book or contact a practitioner through the app.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect precise location data. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your information. We do not read your private journal entries or use them to train AI.
How your data is stored
All data is stored encrypted at rest on Supabase (PostgreSQL on AWS, Canada region where possible). Row-Level Security policies enforce that only you can see your own private content. Authentication uses industry-standard JWT tokens.
Mamas Near Me
If you opt in to "Show me in Mamas Near Me," other mothers in the city you entered (and only that city, no postal code or street address) can see your first name and send you one introductory message. You can opt out at any time from Profile → Community & Privacy.
Community content
When you post in a community space (article comments, Ask the Circle, weekly discussions), that content is visible to other members. Treat it as semi-public.
Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to send them. You can disable any category from Profile → Notifications.
Third parties
We use Supabase for hosting and storage, Expo Application Services for app distribution, and Stripe for practitioner subscriptions. Apple App Store handles all payment information for mother-side Premium subscriptions — we never see your card details.
Your rights
You can correct any field via Profile → Your Journey, and you can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
Children
MotherMind is intended for users 18 or older.
